My husband, Bob Antaki, and I were born exactly one month apart in New Jersey. We did not know each other while growing up, and met in California while working for the same company.  We dated and had a relationship for nine years before we got married in 1984. The marriage is very happy!

    Both my maternal and paternal grandparents were born in Poland and Hungary, respectively. They emigrated to America in the early 1900's, due to economic reasons, and settled in New Jersey.  My husband's family has been in America for several generations, but 400 years ago his father's ancestors emigrated from Turkey to Syria, due to religious persecution. They are Roman Catholic.
